Welcome New Bloggers!

It was time to bring some new bloggers on board--so a hearty $1000 welcome to Elle and Ashqi. Both ladies are ready to welcome some prosperity and have fun spending imaginary money while they are at it.

First Day

Today is my first day. For my $1,000 I would like to get one room carpted in my new condo. We're not moving until the end of July, but I'll order it now and wait until we move in. ... can't wait to blow $2K tomorrow!

Shopping for Two ($2,000 that is)

Today I was still feeling rather stiff in that left shoulder but I made it to work as I remembered that I get to spend $2,000 today. Although I could have spent it from home, it just made the whole morning thing much easier realizing that my day would be filled with shopping. :-)

First I think I'll go get a wonderful massage with the hot stones (approximately $125) and then I'll make my payment for Yoga Teacher Training Level One at NU Yoga - Chicago Yoga with Suddha Weixler.... That's another $1,495. And then, let's go get a new outfit for my trip to New York this weekend. $375 for a pair of brownish sandals and a new cartigan and slacks. Tomorrow will be jewelry. I won't forget. This is wonderful. Thank you Universe for all the beautiful things there are to buy!@!!!! Oh, and I'll add a pink water bottle to this outfit today (I think I can get that in here).

1000 Dollar Experiment

1000 Dollar Experiment This is my first post! Hurray. The Universe has just been waiting for me to step up to the plate. I got confirmation of this earlier on Karen Bishop's Website, "What's Up On Planet Earth". The pain in my left shoulder is letting me know that it is time for me to SAY what I WANT in my life. So, for my first day of $1,000, I think I'll take the day off from work and take leave without pay, actually for the entire week. That is what I'll do.... that will cost approximately $675 (this money goes toward my life expenses/rent, etc.). So that leaves me with $325 which I can spend very easily at the dance studio, $75 for a week long pass of unlimited classes, another $50 for extended coffee shop visits and that $200 will be split among the 7 days dinners out and movies, approximately $30 per day! Yay. This is fun. My week off without taking vaca days -- hanging out right here in the heart of Andersonville. I love this already. :0) Can't wait til tomorrow's $2,000. I'll be rested up to go shopping.

I would just like to thank God and the Universe for conspiring to bring me prosperity and blessings. You know, I'm sure, that I have a new job. Do you know that the new salary is one that I fantasized about while I wrote these posts? That I got it.

How about the Universe conspiring to bring Rayne prosperity? She got a summer job that starts with Law School credit and then becomes a paid gig.

How about the Universe conspiring to bring Louisa prosperity? She asked for and received all of the much needed text books for midwifery school.

Good stuff Universe, please keep conspiring.
