Picking up - $5000

I would love to fly my grandma up to visit for a week, which includes my mom so 2 tickets at $300 = $600. Some spending money to see the town puts it at $800.

Other things I want for my home:

New privacy blinds for the bedroom - $ 200

New blinds for the living room, sun room and dining room - $500

Patio table and chair set - $ 800

New sofa for the basement - $ 2800

I can't wait to start making changes on the new place...

An even $10K

I'm not going to beat myself for missing so many days of prosperity blogging. I'm going to celebrate that on an upcoming trip to New York, I won't have to pay for a hotel and got a decent fare on my favorite airline. Also that I logged into my 2nd bank account, expecting to find no money and found $1000! Wahoo!

On the eve of going to SXSW, I'm going to use today's money for the ultimate SXSW adventure. With the $10K, I will get badges for 3 of my friends that couldn't afford to come down. $500 x 3 = $1500. Plus last minute airfare, a rental car from San Antonio, driving priviledges for all of us - another $2000.

We'll rent a house for the week instead of renting rooms at a hotel - $2000.

That leaves each of us with $1125 for food, drinks and entertainment. We'll be able to run around Austin, do all of the fun stuff and buy new cowboy boots. It's going to be a great SXSW.
