Yardwork!

At $4,499.00 this seems to be a mid-range riding lawnmower. When I initially took the "Right lawn tractor for you" quiz I ended up with mowers costing $12-14 K. Can you believe a lawnmower can cost that much? I'm sure not saving my lawnmower purchase until the end of the 15 days.
This lawnmower will do JUST fine. Browsing the Troy-Bilt site I found their top of the line rototiller.
Troy-Bilt's most powerful counter-rotating garden tiller. The Pro-Line CRT features a premium Honda engine and counter-rotating design to break up hard-packed soil quickly and easily. Small enough to fit easily between garden rows and with Just One Hand operation, the Pro-Line CRT is also easy to use.

Sounds like a winner to me! Price: $799.00

Okay, let's see - $702 left to spend. We need a huge amount of mulch this year. We need to mulch the front path, four trees, the roses, and the playground. So we'll have two truckloads of mulch delivered for $66.

You think I could get a pergola added to our deck for $636 dollars? Probably if Bob and I do some of the work ourselves. Yes, I'd like a sturdy pergola over the deck for shade and a bit of privacy from the neighbors.
