I haven't even considered....

Today is day eight and this morning I deposited $8000 into my bank account. And now? It is the end of the day and I have barely even considered what to buy. I wonder if I have enough to buy the whole Penguin Library from Amazon yet. Let me go check that out and see... I kind of think it is around $10,000.

It isn't $10,000... It is only $7989.50! And I'm pretty certain that it qualifies for Super Saver shipping.

That leaves $10.50. I'll buy a new utility knife with that. I'll need it to open the 25 boxes.

Can you imagine the heaven of getting 1000 books in one day? The magic of opening box after box of classic literature. Shelving and reshelving. Telling your friends, "Why of course you can borrow a book. Let's adjourn to the library and have a look." 1000 books with matching spines and that yummy book smell. It might even inspire me to get book plates made or really start organizing my shelves instead of my current organization of Jewish, Latin American, Activist, Fiction, and Pink.
