My first day, $1,000
I can spend all this with hardly any thought whatsoever. . .
* 10 foxglove plants, some tomatoes, and other misc. periennials and/or bushes from Burpee and my local garden store for $200
* The Honda mini-tiller, which is about $220 from Sears, last time I checked.
* I'd like to hire good looking gardening help -- someone I can ask to do my bidding, whose working for me. Let's say I pay him $20 per hour, for six hours, so $120.
* I'll need to mulch these plants. Another $50 to have a few cubic yards delivered in Indianapolis.
* I'm all out of sequence, but I'll need a little spaghnum peat moss and compost manure, too. That's probably only $20, but I'm thankful I'll have my garden man to help me carry it. . . Heh, heh
* I also discovered a new love for garden statuary. I'll get a wee gnome with a painted red hat and a little lantern that lights up via solar power for $60, and some Indian goddess in stone for another $60. Again, could you move that for me garden man? Or maybe it would look better over there? Hmmmm....
* With $270 left, that'll be just enough to buy a hammock and hammock stand from Target, and maybe a bottle of tequila and margarita mix. I'm tired after all this gardening....
