Twelve thousand.
Okay, going on what I just said in my previous post, I'm going to focus on that today.
First off, $1,000 goes into my 1DE savings account. Pay yourself first, all the experts say.
Then, I want to give $1,800 to Girls, Inc., $1,800 to Hadassah and $1,800 to Camp Trans.
So, first stop, the greatest place on earth for an organizer like me. The Container Store, where $777.36 treats me to this home office. I have a window in my office here that could use something to pretty it up, too. So, two of these pretty curtains are sure to make it look special, upscale and well, green makes me happy. And, so keep the green mojo going and to keep my spine healthy, I'm buying this chair in "greenleaf" to complete my office.
Then, I'm giving myself the gift of a year of manicures and pedicures for $1,000 at the little salon in my neighborhood that gets it just right. I prefer to cut and color my hair myself, but when I use my beloved Sebastian products instead of what's on sale at the drugstore, I like my hair a lot. So, a year of Sebastian Laminates product for $180.
Now, I am one of those people who actually likes to clean. When I have nervous energy (shpilkes!) I clean. But, it would be nice to have someone give my apartment a monthly once-over, so I'll give myself monthly once-over maid service for $1800. Also, how about a monthly mobile car detail service for $50 per month? Sounds perfect.
The rest is all for tipping manicurists, pedicurists, car detailers, and housekeepers.
